Trade of the Week
October 12, 2026
TRIGGERED
No trade if: If AAPL never reaches $341.65, the setup stays inactive. After activation, a move to $331.40 or below invalidates the plan. A stop does not guarantee an exit at that price; gaps and slippage can increase the loss. If price is already far above the trigger, reassess the risk rather than assuming the original 2:1 ratio still applies.

Private automation layer
A trade plan is only useful if the rules survive the moment.
StockMags now has a private Interactive Brokers execution bridge built around the Trade of the Week. Its job is not to predict the market. Its job is to wait for confirmation, enforce the published risk plan and reduce emotional decisions after the setup becomes active.
Wait for the trigger
The published entry and qualification metrics must be satisfied. If the trigger never arrives, the system does nothing.
Check the guardrails
The ticker allowlist, position cap, risk-at-stop limit, price-chase limit and market-context gate must all pass before an order is eligible.
Protect the position
The entry is paired with a broker-held stop and profit target, so the core protection does not depend on a WordPress page staying online.
Manage the exit
The stop can tighten as price advances. A separate sentiment exit requires fresh, consecutively confirmed adverse readings before it can act.
Duplicate-order protection, one-position limits, account binding, regular-hours controls and emergency disarming are part of the design. Automation can reduce rule-breaking, but it cannot remove market risk, gaps, slippage, data errors or technology failures.
