Mastering VWAP and MACD
Digital Color Companion & Live Evidence Stack Tool
Continue the book experience with the full-color visual reference pack and the protected TradingView indicator created to help you study VWAP location, MACD momentum, moving-average structure, relative volume, Confluence Factor Score alignment, and Lockdown Mode in a live chart environment.
Why This Resource Page Exists
A printed trading book can explain a framework, but color and live-chart interaction make that framework easier to study. This companion page gives readers two practical resources: a color visual guide and a ready-to-use TradingView overlay that applies the Evidence Stack vocabulary used throughout the book.
Digital Color Companion
View the high-resolution color examples for Lockdown Mode, the Anchor Reclaim Protocol, the CFS dashboard, and the timeframe safeguard message.
Evidence Stack Overlay
Add the protected TradingView indicator directly to a chart. Readers can use the finished tool without copying, editing, or seeing Pine Script code.
Review, Do Not Predict
Study alignment, retests, rejection areas, and chop conditions. The tool organizes evidence; it does not promise trade results or replace personal risk management.
Ready-to-Use Companion Indicator
J. R. Glenn | VWAP + MACD Evidence Stack Overlay
The TradingView companion indicator is published as a protected source script. It is available for readers to use on a chart while the underlying code remains closed to public view. TradingView displays a Use on chart option on the published indicator page.
- Open the indicator page. Select the green button below to visit the published TradingView tool.
- Add it to an intraday chart. Begin with a liquid stock or ETF on a 5-minute or 15-minute standard candlestick chart.
- Read the Evidence Stack dashboard. Observe price relative to Session VWAP, EMA structure, MACD momentum, relative volume, and backdrop context.
- Study review markers. ARP and REJ labels identify conditions for closer study; LOCK highlights tangled/choppy conditions where patience may matter most.
- Journal what followed. Compare what the dashboard suggested with what price actually did next rather than treating markers as trade instructions.
What the Evidence Stack Helps You Review
The Confluence Factor Score (CFS) organizes five observable conditions. A stronger score means more of the selected conditions are aligned on a completed bar; it does not guarantee a successful outcome.
| Evidence Layer | What It Reviews | Study Question |
|---|---|---|
| Location | Price in relation to Session VWAP | Is price being accepted above or rejected below session value? |
| Structure | Fast EMA, slow EMA, and price alignment | Does the trend structure support the direction being reviewed? |
| Momentum | MACD histogram direction and expansion | Is momentum strengthening, fading, or tangled? |
| Participation | Relative volume threshold | Is the movement receiving meaningful participation? |
| Backdrop | Optional confirmed higher-timeframe SMA proxy | Does broader context support or complicate the intraday idea? |
| Lockdown | Repeated VWAP cuts plus compressed EMA/MACD structure | Is the market too tangled or indecisive for clean directional review? |

Practice Prompt
Use the Tool Like a Student of the Market
Before taking any trade, stop and write down what the Evidence Stack is showing:
- What is price doing around Session VWAP?
- Does structure support continuation or suggest indecision?
- Is momentum confirming or weakening?
- Does relative volume support the move?
- What event would invalidate the idea?
