Report structure preview — not a completed company report. This page shows how StockMags Dividend Research Pro could organize evidence. It contains no scored stock picks, fair-value estimates or member-only financial research. The planned service is not open for purchase.

1. The research record
Each review should identify the company, ticker, security type, review date, financial period and primary sources. Readers should be able to distinguish a price date from a filing date and see when information needs another review.
2. What supports the dividend
A report should show the declared regular rate and calculate earnings and cash-flow coverage using clearly identified periods. Special dividends should be separate. Where an unusual item affects coverage, the report should explain the adjustment and retain the source figure.
3. Debt, business risks and sector context
A report should examine financing obligations and the operating conditions that could weaken distributions. REITs, banks and BDCs need appropriate sector models; they should not be forced into a common-stock score.
4. Valuation with visible assumptions
Valuation should present a range with the assumptions that produce it, rather than a single unexplained target. A reader should be able to see how lower growth or different valuation multiples change the estimate. An estimate is not a forecast or guaranteed selling price.
5. What changed and what remains unresolved
Updates should separate newly reported facts from interpretation, explain material revisions and retain unresolved questions. Missing evidence should be visible rather than converted into a favorable score.
6. Your decision record
| Question | What to record |
|---|---|
| Why am I investigating this company? | The business reason, not just the yield. |
| What evidence supports the dividend? | The source, financial period and coverage calculation. |
| What would change my view? | A specific business or financial condition. |
| What price assumptions am I using? | The valuation inputs and uncertainty. |
| When will I revisit it? | A date or event such as the next earnings release. |
Use the free Decision Journal to practice this process now. A useful outcome may be to wait until more evidence is available.
